TOURNAMENT OF DEATH: Combat Zone Wrestling Tournament of Death 18 quick results

Combat Zone Wrestling presented Tournament of Death 18 this afternoon outdoors at the Colossal Sports Academy at the Coliseum in Voorhees, NJ.
Here are quick results:
The show began with a ten bell salute for longtime CZW friend and well known wrestling photographer Lyle Williams and Adrian “Lionheart” McCallum.
* The first round matches began with the Doors of Death Match, which saw Officer Dan O’Hare defeated SHLAK by pinfall while putting a bag over SHLAK’s head following SHLAK trying to use a flaming elbow on O’Hare.
* In the Summer Funtime Death Match, Conor Claxton defeated Jimmy “Chondo” Lyon after a package piledriver on top of a SUV. Lyon was down and being assisted out by CZW staff, but was grabbed by Claxton who went to the finish. Various toys used included thumbtacks, pineapple, a bed of sharpened pencils, and gimmicked shoes.
* In the Shattered Dreams Pane of Glass Death Match, Tournament of Death 17 winner Jimmy Lloyd defeated John Wayne Murdoch (with Reed Bentley) after spraying lighhting a pane of glass on fire lighting and plowing Murdoch onto Reed Bentley through a pane of glass for the pinfall.
* In the final first round match, a Barbed wire boards/Light tube bundles death match, Casanova Valentine defeated the UK’s Big F’N Joe after a claw on Big F’N Joe’s head.
* THE REP defeated Murder by Kicks (Ken Broadway/Matt Travis) by pinfall.
* In the first of the semi-finals, an exploding bat/light tubes death match, Conor Claxton defeated Jimmy LloydMr after Claxton caught Jimmy Lloyd with a series of rollups. Post-match, Lloyd took out referee Boom Boom Harden with with light tubes. Fans there apparently weren’t happy with the finish.
* In the second semi-final, thumbtacks and barbed wire baseball bat death match, Dan O’Hare defeated Casanova Valentine by pinfall after a side Russian Legsweep into barbed wire.
* Before the main event came the non-tournament Fans Bring The Weapons match, with Bulldozer Matt Tremont defeating Mance Warner after a top rope splash with light tubes, a drum set, a drill, a baseball bat
* Then…the main event which saw Conor Claxton win Tournament of Death 18 over Dan O’Hare by pinfall doing a sideslam of O’Hare through light Tubes into an exploding barbed wire trampoline.
